At The Quarries there is something for everyone. Sports programs run year round for children and adults either on one of our five fields or inside the Christian Life Center. Our basketball courts, a double court, is a community favorite and is used for volleyball and basketball.
The Quarries is also a serene park nestled between the shopping hubs of The Domain and Arboretum. The park is ideal for outdoor exercise and family picnics. We have a camp site complete with a fire pit, an open air pavilion, fishing in our spring fed lake and canoes for rent.
In the mid 1980's The Quarries pavilion and softball fields were built and we began hosting and forming leagues. Since then, the park has continued to be a haven for neighbors to walk and explore, our programs have grown and we have become a popular place for events.
The CLC, a vision of Hyde Park Baptist for a center of athletics and retreat, was built in 2006. It houses a beautiful fitness center, indoor track, dining hall and gym. Hyde Park Baptist School Panthers claim the fields and courts as home field. Youth are at The Quarries nearly every day, whether is it the Panther's practicing or one of our Upward Christian-based leagues.
