The International Ministry at Hyde Park Baptist Church has for many years reached out to welcome and minister to the large international community here in Austin. Thousands of people from all over the world come to Austin, to live, work, and study. The most recent census revealed that more than 126,000 people living in Austin were not born in the United States. 173,000 of our neighbors speak Spanish. Many students come to study at the college campuses in our city; the University of Texas alone has more than 4400 international students from 121 countries.
For many years we have provided Bible study and worship for Hispanic (two groups), Chinese, and Korean and recently Romanian believers and their friends. Each ministry has their own pastor and Sunday School leaders and meets in our facilities on Sundays and during the week. Click on the links below to learn more about these ministries.
