Bringing Baby to Church
Come to the Children’s Ministry Welcome Desk at the South end of the building (by the aquarium). Greeters will be there to help you with the following check-in procedure:
- Fill out an Information Sheet, indicating all necessary info about you and your child. The following Sunday you will be able to use the Check-In System by entering your child’s name at the computer.
- You will be given an adhesive name tag and parent receipt. Put the name tag on the child’s back and keep the receipt to turn in when picking up your child.
- A Greeter will show you to the child’s classroom. Give the teacher/volunteer instructions about your child by filling out the “When Leaving Baby” form.
- When leaving the room, sign your child in on the sign-in sheet at the door. We'll use this information to reach you if needed. Keep your phone on vibrate.
- When picking up your child, give the teacher/volunteer your parent receipt and sign your child out.
Opportunities for Parents
Family Dedication Services
Family dedication services are held four times a year. This is an opportunity for parents to publicly dedicate their family to the Lord and receive the church's commitment to assist in the spiritual development of their child.
This is offered to families who are members of Hyde Park Baptist and The Quarries Church. Membership is required because in order to fully dedicate your family to the Lord, you must be personally committed to the Lord and the local church. If you are not a member and would like to make that commitment or if you have questions about membership, call or email so we can assist you.
Contact Bev Allen, ballen@hpbc.org, to participate.
Faith Path
We believe God designed the family as the primary place for discipleship. The FAITH PATH initiative exists to partner with you as you guide your child's faith journey one step at a time.
