The primary purpose of the GraceLife Workshop is to prepare those who understand the believers’ identity in Christ to share the truths of that identity with others.  It is a hands-on, experiential training opportunity designed to help participants learn how to effectively share the Biblical principles of the exchanged life and serve in ministry as lay counselors* in their local churches.  This workshop, however, is not strictly for those interested in ministry.  For believers who have already participated in the GraceLife Conference, this event will take you deeper into the exchanged life message and its real life applications.  *

This 4-Day workshop fulfills Level 2 requirements of the Discipleship/Counseling Training Program of the Association of Exchanged Life Ministries

Session Topics

Characteristics of a Counselor
   - Explore qualities, taken from scripture, of a helper effective in leading others to Christ dependancy

Review of Exchanged Life Diagrams 
   - Take an indepth journey through diagrams illustrating the Biblical Picture of Man
   - Review the difference between people living in the flesh, both positively and negatively programmed, and those living the exchanged life

Interviewing Techniques
   - Discuss techniques for asking questions
   - Explore the best formats for interviews and situations

Identifying Behavioral patterns
   - Learn to lead a helpee through a life messages diagram
   - Practice taking the life history of a helpee

Sharing with Others How to Exchange Self-Sufficiency for Christ Sufficiency
   - Train and practice, using the Exchanged Life materials and diagrams, with other participants and instructors on how to effectively share the message of the cross
