A SPIRIT OF RENEWAL
The prophet Habakkuk once prayed a great prayer. “LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known…” He asked for what we desire at Hyde Park – to see a renewal of the mighty power of God. That’s what Renew hp 360° is all about. What will Renew hp 360° mean to us?

Renewal We Can Touch
From our facility improvement needs to our ministry upgrades through media, we believe there has never been a time better than now to move forward. We plan to renovate existing space from one end of Speedway to another in order to testify to the fact that our Lord deserves the best. With media improvements, we will communicate our message more effectively. Now is the time to put our best foot forward as we reach the people of our high tech city.

Renewal for the Future
Renewal is also about the next generation. Our church has accepted the challenge of relocating our Hyde Park Baptist High School to the Quarries with the first students attending classes in a brand new state-of-the-art campus in the fall of 2009! Through our school we will raise up Christian leaders for generations to come. We have dreamed about these opportunities for years and now the time has come to partner with God in renewal.

Renewal of Commitment
The vision described in the following pages calls on all of our people to play a part. The cost is about 6 million dollars – a challenging but reachable goal for our church over the next three years. I am asking you to read through and then pray through the vision unfolding before us. Together, with God’s favor resting upon us, we can expect the refreshing spirit of renewal.
